Psalm 32:7
“You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance.”
What joy there is in knowing that God protects us. He not only hides us but keeps us safe and rescues us from what would hurt us. God our protector! What peace and security there is in that.
We do not walk alone. If we are open to welcome Jesus with us, He helps us through whatever we must face each day. Much of our suffering is not prevented but we have opportunities to choose a way that helps us and does not add more suffering in our lives. When we look at the life of Jesus we see that He suffered greatly! How He chose to live was close to His Father. He “hid” away. He went to the one that sheltered Him and rejeuvenated Him. Countless times in His ministry we see God protect Him.
I wonder if we were able to see a lens of our lives from the outward looking in, if we might see the countless times that God protected us without us realizing it? I will end this here so that you can think about that a bit.
Praying for you today!
